Roads have been closed off in a town centre due to a police incident.
There is reportedly a heavy police presence in Walthamstow, with High Street, Hoe Street and Church Hill closed off after an incident this evening (November 5).
On X, formerly known as Twitter, Waltham Forest Council said: “Please avoid the area if you can.”
We have been informed that there are several road closures following an incident this evening in E17.

Meanwhile the bus 212 is being diverted from the area due to the closures.
